For current graduate admissions, Bocconi describes a combination of test performance, academic record, dossier and motivation. Certain programmes receive additional programme-level evaluation, and some require a recorded video interview. That does not mean every Bocconi Master's applicant has the same interview process.

Start by writing down the exact components shown for your programme and round. Then prepare one coherent evidence set across them.

Build a motivation that fits the programme

1. Define the academic or professional problem you want to work on.
2. Show the experience that made the problem important to you.
3. Select programme elements that address a real gap.
4. Explain a realistic next step after the degree.

If your programme requires a video interview

Recorded answers reward clarity. Begin with the direct answer, add one concrete reason or example and finish with the connection to Bocconi. Do not spend most of the available time repeating the question or giving background that the application already contains.
